Exodus at Accenture ? Is it true ??

Is this true ?

Accenture may be looking at re-structuring its workforce and dolling out increments, promotions to all employees. But sources said this comes after 4,500 employees have quit Accenture India since December last year, sources told CNBC-TV18's Kritika Saxena. The employees, who have resigned, are across departments, services, and management functions, sources added.

Accenture plans to undertake large scale restructuring of workforce. The movement of mid-level and senior management level employees are expected. Promotions and wage hikes are on the charts.

Up to 100 mid-level management employees are to move to senior positions while up to 50 senior employees are to be moved to executive positions. Junior level employees are to be promoted to mid-management levels.

Onshore employees are likely to receive wage hike of 10% while offshore employees will get a hike of 9%. Total headcount at Accenture India stands at 50,000. Accenture, however, has declined to comment on the issue.
